My friend and cousin Jamie memed me, so this is what I have to do:
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
1. When I was younger I loved the name Tracy. I liked to pretend that I was a pageant contestant and my fake name would be Tracy Hart (Hart was the last name of the boy I liked in 3rd grade.)
2. Another memory from 3rd grade was this boy in my class, Bob Bartlett, (I think that was his name?) gave me a My Little Pony as a gift. I knew that I wasn't allowed to accept gifts from boys, but I accepted it anyway because I loved My Little Pony. I hid the toy in my closet, probably not for very long, but it felt like it. I was afraid to tell my mom about it. I finally got up the courage to tell her and she made me give it back to him. That was a sad day!
3. My favorite singer growing up was Amy Grant. My friend Heather and I would make up dance routines to her songs. Sometimes we would dance outside and other times we would come down the stairs at my house and make an entrance doing our routine.
4. When I put laundry away that's folded, I always rotate the items so that everything gets used equally! I know, OCD! Sometimes I do the same thing when putting clean dishes away.
5. When I was in 6th grade most of the students in my class were not well behaved. It was my third year going to public school. Every month the teachers had to pick a student that was Super Citizen of the Month. My teacher picked me almost every month. I was so embarrassed every time they would announce it over the intercom. I wanted to hide under my desk. I wish that she would have given the other kids a chance. I didn't want to be the Super Citizen!
6. I don't like, as Brian says, "sweets with my meats". I don't like any sauce or fruit that would make meat sweet. One time my mom tried a new recipe 'Pineapple Meatballs'. They were horrible! She never made them again because my sister and I hated them so much.
7. It seemed like when I was a kid, safety was a big thing. My parents took me and my sister to Circuit City to have a video done in case something ever happened to us. My parents also had a secret word 'pan' (it means bread in Spanish) that someone had to use if they ever picked us up from school etc. I never had to ask someone to tell me the secret word and I was so disappointed by that! I wanted them to get the word wrong so then I could tell them "No! That's not the right word. You can't take us home."
I tag Aimee, Jacqui, Sarah, Kristi, Michelle, Lindsey, and Shamus.
