Like mother, like daughter
Our back door has a brick step as you walk out. Hannah likes to walk out of the house by herself, but I always make sure she remembers the step. This afternoon, we were leaving for the gym and I moved my flip flops that were on the step, so that she could get down. Hannah stepped down and took longer than usual to come to the car. Without me asking, she put the flip flops back on the step in about the same place as they were before. Brian saw her doing this and just laughed. If you've ever seen the show Monk, he says "It's a blessing and a curse" (being neat).

That's a hoot!!...Perhaps an alternate title for your posting could be: "Like Abuelita and Mother, like granddaughter and daughter"....Three generations now of little "Monks". How cool is that! I don't think any of my genes are responsible for this type of behavior.
Love you guys,
Papi
that is cute...i think it shows a sign of genius, not the neatness, but that she noticed you moving them, and then moved them back. pretty smart girl. also, like the new quote about time! :)
